I spent over two decades on FIFO rosters — drilling, blasting, supervising. I was good at the job. But my body was falling apart and I was coming home with nothing left for the people who mattered most.

THE WAKE-UP CALL
I was a qualified chef who couldn't digest food properly. I'd had my gallbladder removed. I was running on caffeine and adrenaline. Every swing I'd come home exhausted, irritable, and feeling like a bad dad to my three kids.
I tried personal trainers. Nutritionists. Online programs. None of them understood what it's like to work 12-hour nights in a remote mining camp with processed mess food, no sunlight, and broken sleep. Their advice was built for blokes who work 9 to 5. Not for us.
WHAT CHANGED
I started studying biohacking. Not the trendy kind. The practical kind. How light exposure affects circadian rhythm. How shift work destroys your gut. How your mitochondria produce energy and why cortisol from broken rosters shuts them down.
I got certified as a Biohacking Coach and I'm finishing my Cert IV in Nutrition Coaching. But the real qualification is 24 years living it.
